SOUVENIR FROM EXETER

PROSPECT INN

Prospect Inn, Exeter Photograph by Sean Creech (c) 2001 The Prospect Inn is situated on the Exeter Quayside, there has been an Inn on the site for around 200 years. The inn was originally called the Fountain.

Many unexplained happenings have been reported in this old building. Strange tapping noises and beer barrels have spun apparently without explanation. A young Victorian girl is said to appear on Christmas Day, holding a rag doll in one of the upstairs rooms, smiles and then ghostily fades away.

Further down the river Exe, towards St. David's Station you will find the Lazy landlord
